This summer, we’re proud to present ‘Mapped by Memory’ a new exhibition in partnership with Edinburgh’s Graystone Gallery, featuring the expressive work of Scottish contemporary artists, Kerry Souter and Ellis O’Connor.
Based in Ayr, Kerry Souter’s work complements the theme beautifully through her energetic depictions of coastal action and erosion. Repeatedly returning to familiar haunts, tidal edges, and winding paths, Kerry paints with the pulse of memory - capturing how place leaves an imprint, long after the tide has turned.
Mapped by Memory will be on display throughout the hotel until August, welcoming guests and visitors into an immersive world shaped by brushstroke and shoreline. Whether you’re passing through or staying a while, we invite you to slow down and explore the spaces between land and longing.
